Going Beyond Carbon Neutrality
Following the GHG Protocol, our sustainability analyst mapped Green Boy’s carbon footprint across all scopes of emissions: from our company vehicle (Scope 1) and electricity usage (Scope 2), to business travel (Scope 3A), shipping and storage (Scope 3B), and ingredient production (Scope 3C).
Thanks to our ongoing partnership with projects like Running Tide, we remain carbon neutral across our internal operations (Scopes 1, 2, and 3A), offsetting 100 metric tons of CO2e in 2024.
But our greatest environmental impact lies in Scope 3B and 3C. That’s why, in 2024, we’ve gone beyond offsetting—improving carbon efficiency by 8% across our total footprint and working to reduce emissions at the source through smarter sourcing, streamlined logistics, and stronger supplier collaboration.
