We’re proud to release our 2025 Impact & Sustainability Report, highlighting another year of progress in our mission to build a more sustainable, plant-based food system.
This year’s report details our Scope 1, 2, and 3 CO2e emissions, 15% Reduction in carbon intensity, and the actions we’re taking across our supply chain to drive meaningful environmental change.
Sustainability is a journey, and this report marks our continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and pushing for a greener future, one ingredient at a time.
Following the GHG Protocol, our sustainability analyst mapped Green Boy’s carbon footprint across all scopes of emissions: from our company vehicle (Scope 1) and electricity usage (Scope 2), to business travel (Scope 3 GBG), transport and storage (Scope 3), and ingredient production (Scope 3).

Going Beyond Carbon Efficiency
Our greatest environmental impact lies within Scope 3—primarily transportation and purchased products. That’s why, in 2025, we focused on reducing emissions at the source, not just offsetting them.
We reduced our carbon intensity by 15.4% compared to 2024, measured as total emissions per dollar of revenue. This reflects our ability to grow revenue while reducing our relative environmental impact.

This 15% reduction marks a meaningful step forward in advancing the Plant-Based Food Reformation™ and reinforces our commitment to building a more sustainable food system.
This progress was driven in part by strong collaboration with our international food-producing partners, smarter logistics, as well as a shift toward higher volumes of lower-carbon plant-based products, including starches , fibers, and syrups.
Thanks to our ongoing partnership with projects like Klim (Regenerative agriculture), Exomad Green (Biochar), and Katingan Peatland Restoration and Conservation (Carbon sequestration), we remain carbon neutral across our internal operations (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), offsetting 119 metric tons of CO2e in 2025.
